Hey guys been on here reading and soaking info up like crazy. Had a few two strokes back in the day but nothing like the deal I just scored. I'm gonna post some questions regarding the engine in the technical area as to not clutter this up. But just wanted to check in. Picked up an 86 trx250r for dirt cheap as it needs the engine rebuilt. The engine is a 87 long rod block stroked 5 mil and has a trx9 Esr cylinder bored .120, cool head, ct pipe with a keihn 39mm carb.

Thanks guys! I'm getting pretty stoked. Got the engine ripped a part and a new +4mm stroker crank ordered. Cases at the machine shop getting cleaned up. I'll be ordering the Esr 330 cylinder kit in a week or two.

if u have the cases split already, why stop at 330 u might as well get a 350 since its already apart and ready to bore cases ;)

Haha u actually am boring the cases for a 350. We'll see when I pull the trigger on buying the cylinder kit!
