I took The OMF shrouds off and put some PRM shrouds on it. The front brake lines rubbed really bad on the OMF shrouds.

I took the OMF shrouds off, they rubbed the brake lines really bad. I put a set of PRM shrouds on it. They have a bigger space to run the brake lines through.

Bad news. Turns out my 03 CRF450R engine does not fit this frame. If anyone one knows what engine fits in this frame I would greatly appreciate the info. Frame and sub frame will be for sale when I figure out what engine fits in it.

Width and length. To narrow on the bottom motor mount and pivot bolt to lower mount to far apart, front mount to narrow also.

That sucks it don't fit. I would  have waited on the powder coat for the frame  just to fit the motor  first in case of modifications.  But it a very nice build  good luck. If you  were to sell the motor  pm me a price.  Thanks  rich

Thank you.
I didn't have the motor at the time I was building the roller. I just went with what the guy I got it from told me. Last time I do that.

With the help from Flp, I think we got the chassis figured out. Turns out it uses a 88-89 swingarm, and doesn't use the pivot bolt through the engine. Uses a 03 CRF450R engine. I checked the serial number on my engine and talked to the guy I bought my engine from. Turns out he changed the cases with some 05 cases. There is hope that I can use this chassis after all. Here are some pics of my chassis back in the day.(http://forums.trx250r.org/vbulletin_imports/39_7176_2017-04-18_7279.jpg)(http://forums.trx250r.org/vbulletin_imports/39_7177_2017-04-18_4446.jpg)(http://forums.trx250r.org/vbulletin_imports/39_7178_2017-04-18_9490.jpg)

Finally got the engine set in the chassis. I got the sprockets to line up. It is not bolted up tight yet. I couldn't find any bolts long enough for the front mounts and need to weld a piece in for the lower motor mount. I also got the 88-89 swingarm on. I need to do a little trimming on the back of the motor. It is rubbing the swingarm. I at least I am getting closer and know my engine will work in this chassis.

On the carb. I used the front part of a 88-89 intake, then a piece of 2 1/4 aluminum tube to a 2 1/4 to 4 inch hose on the air box.

Any updates?

I have fired it up 3 times. Still have not rode it yet. I have a week off with no MX races. I will finish getting the sway bar hooked up and the rear shock reservoir mounted. I need to order a Fourwerx seat cover for a 86 seat for it also, I don't like the feel of the 88 foam on my Quadtech seat that is on it now. Feels like I am sitting up too high. A few other small items need to done to it also. Like number plate backgrounds and numbers put on it. I can't decide if I want to put black number plate backgrounds on or blue backgrounds on. Hoping to ride it this weekend if it ever quits raining. I want to race it on June 4th.

Went with the blue number plate backgrounds. Got the sway bar all hooked up and the Walsh radiator reservoir mounted up. Just waiting for my numbers to come in and order a Fourwerx seat cover and my new tires to get in so I can mount them on the new black A5 wheels.

White numbers for now. I was thinking I should try and find some chrome numbers. I would also like to find someone who makes graphics make me some blue and chrome 450R graphics for the front fenders that look like the 88 front fender graphics.
