Title: clutch help
Post by: fast350r on August 21, 2015, 10:33:19 AM
I need help with my clutch not disengaging with slingshot lock up, im having trouble with the clutch arm, rod and pusher. The hub is machined down my gigot and does pressure down on the 5 fibers but the push rod doesn't seem to push it out, almost like the rod is too short. I already adjusted the cable all the way tight on the side case, and on the top clutch lever adjuster and I can barely get it to raise the lock up pressure plate.

I did not have this problem with the stock pressure plate, rod seems too short or do I need to add a washer on the push rod? I do have the 86 rod and pusher not the updated one with bearing.
