I bought this frame pictured here its just base coated R109 red. I have a 85 that I don't like the color it got powder coated. I'm just gonna swap all parts over then blast and paint that frame and build up a 87 replica maybe.

Looks good. Slightly off topic....where are the numbers on these frames? Mine were either mysteriously ground off or I just don't know where to look.
-
The numbers are on the steering stem. Thick powder coat mite cove them.

Hey everyone, newbie here.just wanted to say hey n keep the trikes alive!

How did you like the R109
-
I have a 85 parts bike if any are needed.

Started swapping out some of the parts tonite. I like the R109. I had some base coat fron a few years ago mixed in deltron DBC. I did a profit reading of the color and generated a ppg code. But its off slightly. Ill try to match up a chip in my suitcase. Deltron is pretty pricey.

I too have parts for 85 and an 86,just putting it out there

im in the process of having R109 Honda red color matched at ppg so it can be mixed jn acrylic enamel single stage or base coat and ppg delfleet line. as of now there is only ppg deltron formula.

Is it true RAL 3020 powder coat is an exact match?
