Title: New Guy
Post by: Flinter42 on September 07, 2015, 07:33:36 PM
Hew to the forum not to the 250r community. I just picked up an 87 250r that's is built other than the front end. tons of lonestar racing parts. The guy though it was blown up. It had been in storage for 12years It had 2 wires unhooked from the stator hooked it all up and fired right up motor sounds great. So now im looking for a lonestar front end and shocks. Ill post pics as the build progresses.

Looking forward to working with you guys.

Josh

Be sure to change the tranny oil and gas before riding if you have not already Josh. Its easy to start them and ruin the motor with old gas with the oil separated out. Welcome to our forum and we love to answer questions. I prefer to use LSR for any swinger or a-arms I purchase.

So no front end at all? What are you planning on doing with it? Trail, race, duner?

Best regards

There is that other place where we use to hang out but you get harassed if you choose to use 250R products by companies that have been in business more the 2 or 3 years.

Thanks a lot guys. Plan to MX race this one. Have a Built 450r now always wanted to run a 2 stroke out there. I had a stock front end with wheel spacers and spaced rims. I pulled it all off and sold it yesterday to a friend that's building one also. I jus tbought  a CT racing 310 kit off him also for 150 bucks that's in need of a bore and a good port job. So the search continues for a +3 front end and a few other parts. The quad will be on the stand for a while, but I might take it out for some Ice racing this winter.
