Title: Swingarm Fixture
Post by: ytman on October 10, 2015, 06:37:35 PM
I had to make a fixture so I can fix a swingarm I tried to modify. I thought I could just cut the center out of a 88/89 and make a 86/87. Unfortunately there were complications. I used a stock 89 arm to get the dimensions right.(http://forums.trx250r.org/vbulletin_imports/172_6535_2017-04-18_7323.jpg)(http://forums.trx250r.org/vbulletin_imports/172_6536_2017-04-18_8235.jpg)(http://forums.trx250r.org/vbulletin_imports/172_6537_2017-04-18_5644.jpg)(http://forums.trx250r.org/vbulletin_imports/172_6538_2017-04-18_9739.jpg)(http://forums.trx250r.org/vbulletin_imports/172_6539_2017-04-18_4184.jpg)

Just a 1/2" thick disc of aluminum on each side of the swinger that my dad turned on his little lathe to put a lip on to locate. same on the front.
