Can someone tell me which carrier is specifically for a 250R? I have one that was in my 88 and I have another that came with a LSR swingarm I just bought. I discovered that they are different in diameter where the brake stay goes on. It's about quarter inch difference. But everything else is the same.

Everything else appears to be the same..... far as fitting in the swingarms, bearing size and so forth. It's just the outside diameter on the end where the brake stay plate goes.
-
That's strange to me so you have different size brake stays ?
-
Yes, the stay and the clip are a different

Can ya take some pics an post em up . One of the carriers has to be from a different Honda atv

My opinion is the top one is not 250r atc or trx. I have never seen one with that much lip after the snap ring
-
Is it a Banshee 40mm axle setup?
-
I don't have a clue. The one on bottom uses a single row bearing while the other has tapered bearings.
-
The top one is a 400ex carrier definitely.

Sorry brain don't work well when drinking lol. But its a 400ex

I have a 400EX carrier and it's the same size as the one on the bottom.

I have an Lsr, Rad, and Rpm Millennium carriers. All have different diameter snouts. The lsr is the same as stock. If the carrier is different than stock it should come with the brake stay.
