Title: Pwk carb.choke plunger
Post by: Pj Uptmor on October 16, 2015, 12:55:25 AM
I couldn't get the quad to start and notice the choke plunger was loose. So my question I couldn't get it to tighten up. Is there a special position to get it too tighten up.
Thank you

Do you mean the entire housing is loose or just the slide?  Does it just slide in on its own?  I'm pretty sure u can replace that part.  The atv shop near me has most of the parts to the pwk carbs.  The PO used something wrong to get the needle out of the slide of the 38mm A/S that I bought and he had two on hand.

threads on choke housing are plastic i think, urs may be stripped. just replace and call it good, parts are cheap.

The actual knob will spin indefinitely. The nut, as Jesse has pointed out, is threads into the carb.
