Title: Arens Frame dimensions
Post by: swanitalia on October 22, 2015, 09:25:33 AM
Does anyone know the dimension of a Arens frame? Height and length?

My frame just arrived and is ready for pickup, i wasn't expecting it to arrive so soon. I drove my fuel efficient focus to work today and was wondering if I could possibly get the frame loaded up in the car.

Another option is borrowing the company truck to grab it, but I will have to get approval for non work related use.

I can't imagine they shipped it with the sub-frame bolted up.

Any frame that I know of will fit in a small car with the sub-frame removed

That's what I was thinking but I wanted to measure to be sure it would fit.

I was thinking about removing my rear seat to give me about 4"-5" more head room/

If it's a 4-door Focus it will fit. My Laeger fit in a Cruze no problem

for reference a Laeger stock replacement frame is 41" long (subframe not included).  24" high from bottom frame rail to top of steering stem mount.  the Arens dimensions should be or are the same since it too is a replacement frame.

Put it in the passenger front seat. Just fold the seat back. I did that with a stock frame in a 240sx.

For sure it will fit...its wrapped in cardboard and shrink wrap so it wont tear up your seats. Ive had my LRD in the back seat of a mustang before also no problem.
