Almost done now but I thought I'd start a new thread on .org as well. Some background on it:
Laeger narrow front frame, +2 a-arms, no-link swingarm, steering stem
Brand new rear bearing carrier with Nacs brake stay
Brand new tie rods and ends
PEP ZPS front shocks and Custom Axis rear shock
AC racing pro-pegs for the frame
ESR 310 with fresh top end on 72.25 bore and race gas dome
LRD team B pipe and silencer
Brand new OEM fibers, plates and springs
Brand new HotRods new style crank
Brand new bearings and seals in entire motor
Brand new ASI radiator hoses
38mm TMX carb
Brand new Boyesen rad valve
LT500 boot to stock airbox for now, fabricating a custom aluminum one soon
Brand new sprockets and chain
Brand new white plastics coming soon
Brand new Ceet gripper 250r cover
Motofool 250r graphics just waiting on plastic
Holeshot MXR6's all the way around on ITP rims, getting some GNCC's soon
Some other stuff here and there but you get the idea. I've been wanting to build this quad since I was about 10 years old and now it's coming alive. There are still a lot of details to be finished up like going back over everything and making sure everything is tight as well as other parts to put on but I can't wait to ride it. Thanks for looking!

That's beautiful zcarlson12. With the shock offset like that you have a lot more room for the intake tract. I didn't realize the no link Laeger was like that. *****en.
..........oops...I didn't realize you can't say *****en. How about...sweet.

Nice chassis! It used to be mine and was really nice. Good to see it went to a good home.
-
Thanks everyone so far! YT- ya I think it should work well with the longer LT boot. Dustin- It is a very nice chassis! I got it, the swingarm, rear shock, and nerfs from Steve (good dude). Can you give me any background on it? Year? Raced? Thanks!
-
Looks good! We are going to need a Laeger section before too long, lots of nice ones being built!
-
Very nice!!!
-
Thanks 05 and super. I had a note in my mailbox that I have a couple packages at the office. I can't remember what I bought but I hope it's a pipe, air filter, plugs and some fluids lol.
-
She is lookin very good dude. Two no-link Laegers on this site now! (that I know of)
-
Looking real good. Keep the pics updated.
-
Thanks Tbone and etccb. I will add some more pics after this weekend. I should be pretty close to firing it up and doing break in early next week. Hopefully sooner because I can't wait to see how this thing rides!
-
Update: All fluids in but ran into an issue on getting my LRD pipe on. I'm going to have to take the right tie rod off to get it on but no big deal. I got my airbox situation figured out and its on the way here as well as a airboot, plastics and seat. Only thing left besides that is the final checks and re-checks before I start it. I do have a question about the wiring harness. Does anyone have a pic from over the engine looking down at how all of the wiring is ran? Or any pics from the cdi to the spark plug area? I got in a hurry taking it all apart and I didn't remember to take a couple pics of the way it all went together.
-
Looks good man and what wiring are you running, stock or cr250 set up.
-
Just the stock setup. I just want to make sure I have everything in the right place and plugged in correctly so I'm not kicking this thing for an hour wondering why it's not starting haha.
-
Sounds like its moving along nicely, keep it up!!
-
Thanks guys! Jamie- it's the stock set up. Going out there right now to mess with it some more and get the pipe on.
-
Is it a stock set up cut short or full on harness, if its a full on harness I can post pics of how to run it and if its a short harness o can post pics of that also. Well excuse me I can text them I currently don't have a computer to do squat and need someone to post pics for me. Jon was sappose to for some stuff that I have for sale but he hasn't done it just yet. Here is my cell if you need pics man 269-362-2458
-
Got the pipe on and some other misc. stuff. Jamie- I txtd you sir.
-
Update: Plastic is just sitting on there and some other things still aren't done but it started on the third kick and sounds really good. Started breaking it in yesterday and hopefully finish it today.(http://i41.tinypic.com/29kuwjo.jpg)

Great looking R, glad you got the wiring figured out. Let her rip!
-
nice job.
-
Looks good man, I lime the old school nacs graphics
-
Wow that thing looks great. Really clean and love the Nac's graphics. Good job putting her together!
-
Thanks everyone. The wiring was way easier than I was making it, still not sure why I thought it was so complicated haha. Does anyone just route the overflow hose down the frame rail to dump on the pipe or the ground? I'm thinking as a temporary fix until I get a Walsh bottle but I was just curious to what other people are doing.
-
Looking good! The Walsh bottle is just a Polaris Predator bottle, cheap on ebay but until then just run it to the ground and keep an eye on the coolant! Do you know what length Laeger uses for the no-link shock? I need to measure the one on my Houser still.
-
I thought that would be fine, thanks 05. I don't know the exact length but I can measure it tomorrow and let you know.
-
Sounds good,thank you!
-
05450R I completely forgot to measure that shock, I'll get that for you tomorrow. Does anyone have a picture of the front fenders mounted without the hood? I'm trying to figure out where the front fender mounts connect to the fenders and all that. Thanks.
-
No rush, whenever you get time. There should be a threaded hole on both side of the frame just forward of the upper shroud mount, your mounts will bolt to those.
-
05- I didn't have time to take the shock all the way off but ride height length is 17.5" eye to eye. If you need me to take the shock off for the full measurement just let me know and I can this weekend.
Here are some more pics from today just going over everything and double checking before the maiden voyage. Still waiting on my grab bar and I need to get bolts for the nerfs, a "pin style" seat latch ( let me know if you have one to part with ) and a few other things. Who am I kidding they are never really done.

-
Looking good!!... No need to take the shock off,the ride height measurement will work, thank you! Im looking for a different rear shock and was just wondering what a Laeger used compared to a Houser.
-
Thanks! No problem, ahh I see. Does anyone have any tips or tricks on setting the camber and caster? I haven't done it in probably 5 years haha.
-
It looks great man, I'm not a fan of red very often but it turned out awesome man.
-
Hey nice plastic and set lol
-
How did you end up hooking up your intake?
-
Haha thanks Sidcon. YT- I found a guy that had a Laeger no-link with the matching airbox. He sold me the box and it fit perfectly. I'll take some pics and post them this week.
