Title: Leakdown test

How does everyone do a leakdown test? What do you use for the intake and exhaust ports? How do you fill the cylinder with air? I've got a pretty good idea of what the expected outcome should be from the "discussions" from the other place. I'm not too concerned with how many PSI for how many minutes and what is considered acceptable right now. It's the physical logistics that confuse me. If by chance anyone has pics of their tools/setup that would be great.

I don't have a picture, but I'll try to describe mine.  I bought a blood pressure tester from walmart for like 14 bucks.  The cuff had two lines coming off of it.  One went to the squeeze bulb, the other went to the gauge.  I cut the cuff off and used a vacuum "T" from an auto parts store to connect the two lines to a tapered rubber plug from Lowes that I drilled a hole through.   I squeeze that plug in to my intake and another tapered rubber plug in to the exhaust.  I have about 20 bucks in it and have used it a few dozen times.  A side benefit to going this route is that it came with a stethoscope that I can use to help find leaks without getting soapy water everywhere.

Walmart... I was just about to ask where to buy a blood pressure tester. Shoulda known 'ol wally world would have one. No prob liv2ride. Found the article and it's been stashed in my favs, glad to share.
