Post by: fast350r on December 24, 2015, 08:49:34 AM
I got a 48mm lectron with billet bowl for my puma , and i cant get the darn thing to fit right? I have the upp puma in take and it fits slighly slanted clockwise not to mention their is no way to with my air filter set up : (

Any suggestions on intake set up or manifold?

Will the carb run right slanted?

Is it the Billet bowl with the corner notched out?

I ran a 44 on my Sphinx with the regular clear bowl and UPP intake. My intake was shortened a little for other reasons but it would fit. This is in a stock frame and it is a tight fit.

On the Puma there is a 52 with the billet bowl and it clears the cases but no issue with frame as it is in aftermarket frame.

no the bowl is not notched out? the main problem im having is the carb bell faces the rear shock and leave a bad curve for the intake

I had that prob on a 48 on the pro x.  I had an aluminum intake made and changed the angle to allow air filter to clear. Hard in stock type frames

Well it's what I had to do to get it to work. On my drag frames I made sure I had enough room there and now I run just a reg upp

Problems solved , jared suggested id boil and stretch the stock cr500 boot and it worked 48mm slipped right on , and it gave back the correct angle . I added an led to finish it of.
