Got a vforce 3 valve and what I think is a vforce 2 valve. Reeds appear to all be in good shape. Which one should I use on a well ported 250?

There are several differences between the V-force 2 and 3. The 3 uses clips rather than screws to hold the reeds in and it has an aerodynamic insert on the intake side that is supposed to improve the flow rate. If I had to pick one I'd pick the 3 just because they claim it represents an advance over the previous design. You may want to test them back to back. I've had them both and haven't notice a seat-of-the-pants difference.

Sounds like a good idea. The 3 is newer anyways.

In banshees I know quite a few builders like the v-2's for top end performance, v-3's for lower range. Im not sure if its the same with the small design changes there would be between the quads but it may be something to consider.

I need all the help I can get for bottom end. I weigh 250lbs and it has to get my butt moving!!!

I run the 2's seem to give a broader powerband I thought when compared to the 3's. The 3's also lost a upper reed petal on me into the motor. Hard tellin if there was a diff between the two just felt like that to me.
