My brother in law just got through radiation for cancer and does not feel up to riding. I went to pick up my sister so we could ring in the new year on the dunes. Sand is soft wet and spectacular. Resembles the grand canyon with pinnacles of sand instead of dunes. Craiglist find Blue 250r

Nice pics tony. I need to make it to Winchester for some winter fun. By far the best place and time to ride in Oregon.

 Right, they cannot figure out how to get to the top of the dune. (Which way do I go?, which way do I go?)You can't ride the long way around.

I love all the obstacles and challenging terrain. I especially love to watch my 8 year old son conquer some of the things that makes his mom cringe. If it was just rolling sand hills and bowls I wouldn't go. Can't wait for February when I get to go

I was there in december & it was just like that, sand was wet, & only other riders were dirtbikers. Good time, great pictures.

Went back a week later 1-10-16 and the 3rd parking lot was open. But entrance was still under water

Kinda like this one when I did not stop. As you can see the bike was upside down with handle bars in the sand. Straightened up for pic.

Glad to see your spending time behind the bars (most of the time), I'm jealous cause winter time is when I like to hit it. Summers always to busy @ the beach. And wet sand if ruffer and more technical, separates the boys from the men! Lol!
