Ya I'm going to need to do some upgrades before we start talking drags lol it's a stock motor with bolt on's....pipe slinger, reeds, head, etc. I'm going to ride it till it needs to be gone through then take it to ESR in pismo and have them put the 330 kit on it.

There's lots more to drag racing than being fast.  Bracket classes are a dial in style racing if your familiar with that.  Evens the playing field for every style/speed of bike.  Come check it out.

Oh nice! Ya I bought it from a buddy in Porterville who I think bought it from your buddy. My buddy bought it and on the same day he lost a Tranny in his truck so he needed money back real fast lol so he sold me the bike a bunch of parts he had been collecting to build a R and his trailer lol I'm pretty sure the title still has ur buddies name on it lol

Quick310r seeing as you know the bike and have worked on it are they any quirks or anything I should watch for?

Nothing that I know of, if I remember right that pipe had a pretty good dent in it in the front when he was having ignition problems before he swapped out to cr style ignition, a place up north that can repair that pipe fairly cheap and make it look like new, keep a lot of chrome polish on hand,ha ha

It hadn't been polished for a while when I got it I'm already about 4 hours into polishing it and not even half way done.....soooo much chrome....and I love it hahahaha

One thing you need to remember, on that bike, it has 02 cr ignition, has a 01 stator adapter plate, I had to slot the hell out of the stator and adaptor plate to set timing in the correct place, this was done before Esr started making 02 to 07 cr style adapters, if u ever pull the stator off mark everything for reassembly or it will never run right, FYI
