Nice. What are your plans for the restoration?

Full rebuild I need Aa new rear linkage for the lobo. I've spoken to the guys at roll design they'll get back to me on Monday.

Sorry, but why not keep it KTM?( I know, I know, I'm gonna hear it). I've ridden with friends with ktm bikes (525xc's) and those things are impressive to say the least. Just curious.

I prefer 2 stroke I'm currently modifying my laeger back to 2 stroke as I had a crf490 engine in it. I bought the lobo without an engine I have a spare 250r engine exhaust etc

Cool! U have been riding a while, cause most people go the other way. Nice choice!

I stopped racing 2006 due to abad back injury. I had a 250r back in 91. I do some flat track racing along with my son and just think the 250r is iconic. For me to own a Laeger a Lobo and a 250r is just the best of the best.

I couldn't agree more on preferring 2-stroke. I've always said if you put a truly skilled great rider on a fully built 250r he will out ride a fully built 450 4-stroker. Now I'm talking built power valve 350r (not stock 250r) compared to built 450. I just feel the type of power a 250 produces is king

You should consider a sphinx 363. That motor should produce 62-68 horses with experienced builder with right port, pipe, carb, intake and it screams lobo lobo lobo........
-
Lol I'll see what it's like when chassis is finished before deciding what motor is going in it

I think 2 stroke bikes smell and sound like a bike should
