Title: space between motor and swinger
Post by: Grande huevos on February 07, 2016, 03:07:29 PM
Just curious as to how much space is between your swimg arm and back of the motor... I recently rebuilt my swing arm with new pivot works bearings and seals because I noticed I had a small crack across the backside of my left case.  It still appears to be rubbing and Im stre what I should do yet.. It looks like it has very minimal space between the two maybe 1/16 if I had to guess.. Does this sound right?

If anybody could post pics of the rear motor mounts on your 89 style that would be awesome! My frame has had several gussets installed by somebody in the past and it looks as if they have re fabricated that rear mount and im wondering if that could be my problem.
