How can i tell what year oem a arms I have? What were the differences

86-  gold in color, replaceable upper ball joint, larger tube at the frame mounts with bushings, 1 long collar and caps
87-  gold in color, replaceable upper ball joint, smaller tube at the frame mounts with spherical bearing, seals and 2 short collars
88-89 silver in color, non replaceable upper ball joint, smaller tube at the frame mounts with spherical bearing, seals and 2 short collars

No just curious what arms I have here I have several sets and wanted to know how they were different. I know the colors wouldn't help me since they've been painted

best way I can tell 86 are not rebuildable and 87's removal of clips and they are rebuildable.
