Hi, I have my 89 trx 250r frame on the table, mounted the engine in it, and there appears to be a engine mount missing on the rear bottom by the swinger. Is this mount only used on the 86-88 models? I do not have another mount here in my labeled packages so if it was supposed to be on the trx, it was not when I took it apart several years back. I see on ebay a "half moon" style engine mount that appears to me the swinger bolt go through, my trx does not seem to utilize this mount, am I wrong that it does not belong on my 89?
Here is the mount I am speaking of-

FOOTNOTE-I do not have my manual, lost it some years back and have 1 ordered, I went and downloaded the online manual and it appears this year does not utilize this mount to the engine, but I am unsure- so please bear with me, newbie here.

The '88-'89's do not use the lower back mount hole on the engine. Some gusset kits add it though. The "half-moon" piece is for '86-'87 only. the later model swingers are solid from side to side.

Ok thanks much. Now need spindles and front mounts, bolts for the mounts as well.:nevreness:

it doesnt hurt to pick up the tabs from a gusset kit and weld them in, to utilize those mounts on a 88-89 frame, or if u have the resources make some up.
