Title: Honda 25r 1988

Hi everyone new this this site. I'm picking up a 1988 Honda trx250r in 2 days and my friend is selling it to me . His old frame was cracked and put a racing frame that has no vin. How do I go about getting it registered or do I need to get a used frame

Welcome. Every state is different. Oregon, they don't care, you just buy the registration. Other states need a vin. Typically you can get it inspected by the highway state patrol and this will lead you to getting a title.

Thanks peeps  on info. I'm from Pennsylvania so it's a pain in the ass. Looking for new riders to join me and 30 of good friends to ride

My friends ride sno shoe and we ride Treverton it's like 20 bucks or something. I'm heading up to hazleton ps to ride 8 b's camp ground. I know it's to soon on notice but I ride with 20/30 perps

Welcome! I'm in cali and DMV requires Bill of sale, declaration of facts, vin verification that they do there or must see CHP. Every state is different but if u don't have vin on frame maybe they can use engine # ?

 I ride rock run in Patton and mountain ridge in somerset also  tri-county Atv in heilwood. Sometimes breezewood mx but not alot any more. Ever hit any of these spots? I wouldn't mind coming up to treverton I've heard a ton about it. Big loose hillclimbs. There's a group of bb extended banshee hillclimbers up there that do nothing but rip hillclimbs
