Hi new to the R community I am the orig. owner and have kept it stock and only oem parts. Can't ride much anymore (6 back ops) but I still love my R. I just love to look at it best wheelers ever in my op. Look forward to the site.

Hello. (http://forums.trx250r.org/vbulletin_imports/1200_7367_2017-04-18_1811.jpg)I've never had a TRX. I used to have a ATC 250R So I decided to build one from the ground up Which I did and man i'm glad I did it. It's the most dependable machine I've ever owned

Howdy. I just built a totally stock TRX 250R. it's a 86 with a 87 long rod engine. It's totally stock except for 450R front brakes. Which is an excellent up grade Recommend everybody do it. All the parts just bolt on. They work great and it's at a real good price still I think. I also put a shorter 88 - 89 dog bone on there
to raise the ass end an inch or so. But I don't know if I should have done that because it appears to have a wee bit more chain rub on the swing arm. So I may have to re-do that. This engine is very low hour and is still on the original bore of 66 mm. When it comes time for a top end re build i'm gonna put on a punched out .100" ported 86 cylinder with a spacer plate and what not. Also a .010" thick copper head gasket, Maybe a set of V-FORCE reeds and a new pipe. I figure that ought to give me a few extra HP. I would like to get my kicking compression up to 185 psi. So I can still run pump gas. So that's what i'm going for.
