So I got my new durablue hub on but can't get the snap ring back in place. Is there an easier way than trying to use snap ring pliers that keep slipping?

Did you try a piece of pipe ? You are talking about the Sprocket Hub retaining ring ? Tap it on and into place with a piece of 1-1/2" SCH40 pipe....(1.610"ID)
I did this a few weeks ago....but couldn't find the piece of pipe I used.....it was a piece of cake to install with the pipe.....a real BITCH without!

tap it around with a flat piece of steel , or find a pipe with right diameter.

This is the best method imo. You can even take it a step farther & cut a thin piece of aluminum pipe to go between the steel pipe & hub to reduce the chance of marring the face of the hub.

i always just push it on by hand or 2 flat head screw drivers. never had any sort of problem lol

Going to try the pipe trick, been using the screw drivers but no luck

Two hammer handles work great as well with a wider push area.

Thanks for the info guys! Just got home and got it on in one try with a 1 1/2" pipe! (http://forums.trx250r.org/vbulletin_imports/71_7473_2017-04-18_4590.jpg)

Glad it worked. My snap ring is not recessed like yours into the hub
