Title: Extended brake lines

So I just got my +3 JD LT arms and need extended brake lines. Any preference with anyone?  I've seen the cheap ones from eBay, Streamline, Galfer or Lonestar?  All brake components are stock.

Most of the brands are similar. I'd opt for the T connector version though, not the dedicated lines

X2. I think the T split is a cleaner install but have also ran dual dedicated lines for years without issue.

Apex Brake Lines - good quality, selection of colors and very reasonably priced.  I bought a 90" for 70$ I think.

I have dedicated right now too, but just bought the T connector version. The dedicated lines are annoying and tough to route

Do you guys recommend buying clamps for the arms or just zip tie and some rubber or something like that

I use zipties and clear hose right now. But it likes to scratch up the chrome on my upper a-arms so i'll be switching to rubber mounted clamps

I'll probably find some rubber to buffer between line and the arm so it doesn't rub

All of those brands that you mentioned make quality parts. I run Streamline myself. While you don't have to, I would pay the little extra and get some brake line clamps/holders. They look good and they won't wear on lines like zip ties could. If you're gonna do zipties, at least do do the double ziptie method and not ziptie them directly to the arm using one tie. I also agree on using the T connector. It's personal preference, but I like the look better.

Great point.  I've always ran clamps but a couple years ago I picked up the swivel-type clamps and absolutely love them.  I got mine from Cascade Innovations but there are probably other vendors:  Cascade Innovations Brake Line Holders (http://www.cascadeinnovations.net/store/store_view.cfm?store_area_id=13&STORE_DEPT_ID=131)

Ok, that is pretty dang cool! I may consider getting some of those. Me likey! Do they just pivot as the suspension flexes? Or do they swivel and then lock tight into whatever angle that you desire?

Yup they are trick and function great!  They swivel / pivot as suspension flexes and/or as wheels turn.  The rubber grommet around the brake line allows for just a bit of brake line movement which is nice. But you could obviously stiffen or loosen that up to your liking depending on grommet thickness.

I'll add to this and ask If the arms are +3 then a +2 brake line kit is what most run correct?
What about on +2 arms would a +1 brake line kit be the best route?
It seems like most run brake line kits 1" shorter.
