Post by: Morse250r on April 03, 2016, 10:31:02 AM
Just bought a cpl bolts to see the difference. Here are some pics of the savings. It seems best on the larger bolts.  (http://forums.trx250r.org/vbulletin_imports/167_7507_2017-04-18_2861.jpg)(http://forums.trx250r.org/vbulletin_imports/167_7508_2017-04-18_3191.jpg)

Does anyone know what it cost today to make custom hollow swing arm bolts, hollow axles, hollow motor mount bolts for dirt bikes?

I've spent thousands on titanium tube, plate, bolts, nuts, washers. It makes a difference in making complete set ups light. Big bolts like swing arm etc are $200-$300 something each

Ti bolts are cool and all but my thing is, I'm going to be pissed if a nut comes loose and it's gone.

Oh and just FYI guys, the ti A arm bolts from fourwerks do not fit 86/87 frames. They are too short. I bought some long ago man found out the hard way. Jason at Fourwerx refunded my $ no problem. But for future reference Aarm bolt lengths are different from 86/87 to 88/89.

Use blue Loctite or nylock TI nuts

I was unaware of ti nylock nuts. I'd go for that. Saftey wiring would be great. No way could I drill. Ti Nuts and bolts and already drilled would cost even more.
