I am looking for an Oring for my Lasleeve cylinder head. I know I can call La Sleeve and order it but they want a lot of money and only sell them in a package with the outter oring and copper washers. so as you can imagine I have 2 sets with just the inner oring missing. Absolute nonsense. a
anyone have any idea if I can use a prodesign version?

I have a lot of 0-rings. What are the 0-ring gland dimensions?
-
I have been told a hydraulic store, and ask for them in viton, but also have not explored that option.

Most hydraulic shops will have them or can point you in the right direction.

I put the motor back together yesterday with the Oring that was in there its frayed right now and I am really scared to take it out just to measure. I think my only route is to order a new one from La sleeve and then measure the new one.
oring passed the leak down test so id rather not touch it. I have to test and tune the bike for a dune trip coming up so Id rather change the oring before we go.
doesn't big dog toys use la sleeve cylinders? I wonder if he sells just the oring

You can pretty much, measure the o ring groove in the top of the cylinder to get the size of o ring needed. I cant remember the width of the groove, but know it is 0.050 in depth on the Pro-x cylinders. The groove being that deep, then you know the o ring has to be thicker than 0.050 so to have enough mass to squish out & seal the area.
Way back in my mind, seams like I remember somebody saying the o ring from a Yamaha YZ250 dirt bike would work, but I got no idea the year model.

yes! on a 310 Pro-X they used the o-rings from a 1991 YZ250.....I've used them and they work fine....Part#93210-77363-00 Inner O-ring & Part#93211-11770-00 Outer....both with run you $20.

I just ordered 1 outer o-ring that was missing for my LA Sleeve Pro Cross 310 cylinder. They didn't make me buy anything else. It was $7.50.

I called them and they did sell me just the oring this time, weird. Anyway it was $15.

You just have to ask nicely!:tennis:
-
how much is the kit ? 15$ for one shipped ?
-
the kit is $30 or $35 not 100% certain. $15 for 1 oring shipped and shipping was free.

Not everyone has a local place....
Maybe but if people looked around its not hard to find the sources.

Local isn't an option for me tried that several times and everytime they say I have to order a box of 100. I ordered this oring from them because then I can take the head off measure the groves and the oring and order a but load of them online for a fraction of that price.
