Does anyone know of a kicker that is longer and will work? I've got alot of compression and I'm old and my knees getting bad! Lol
-
I don't know of any longer kicker, but I have heard of some guys using a compression release. I would look into that instead.

Esr has a dual plug and as Ryan said you could put a compression release they make them in the same threads as spark plugs available on amazon.

350x kicker is longer.
-
Depending on the exhaust you have would ya have clearance issues ? With your toes or the kicker ?

Great idea!!

Unsure on interference. Compared to ESR.

Great idea skeans1 I have esr billet head that came with my big bore kit.I wonder if I could install one on it somehow?
-
i know on my trx5b a longer kicker would most likely not work. the kicker is close and as it is my toe hits the pipe. i would also like to look into a compression release. does the extra hole in the head affect the dome aspects at all? depending on the depth of the release into the hole wouldnt that affect the cc size of the dome?
-
Possibly could affect the CC size of the head. I would be more interested in the burn pattern of using the one plug offset to the side.

It'll need to be a dual plug head http://www.eddie-sanders-racing.com/product_p/billet%20head%202plug%20trx.htm dem3500 there's pictures of the dome there too

i would guess with that much of an angle you would have to index the plug

just by looking at the pic, id say the plug is on the same angle as the single plug head
-
use the dual plug head and a standard dome. drill a small hole from the second plug location in the head into the dome. that way you dont have a really big hole that may affect the CC of the dome. i have no idea how big of a hole would be deeded for enough decomp to actually feel a difference but if you started small you could always go bigger

ok so how does that work? you screw the decomp lever into that?

Just like a normal decompression just push the top down.

ok to be honest i dont know how that works at all lol. i have a old honda utility quad with a decomp. its just a lever built into the head. it resets itself after the first kick.

Push the top down and the self release it helped me a huge amount on my quadzilla starting it.

ok gotcha. thanks.

also with that longer kicker it might hit ur peg. also only being a slight bit longer i doubt it would make a whole lot of difference on being easier to kick.
