Title: Why don't you ever see 250r's out on the track?
Post by: Anna Glinn on June 16, 2016, 11:16:25 PM: I've thought of doing a few local practices for the fun of it! However, I've noticed that hardly any 250r's are seen out there.. Whats up with that?

no kidding i was at the local riding area one day i had a kid same age as me (late 20s) say "dang that must have been alot of work to put that dirt bike motor in that 450 frame!"
i just laughed and said ya it was xD.

Jesse pretty much sums it up.... A few years ago when Salem Honda was still in business they had a 19yr old kid behind the counter. I told him I was looking for parts for my 86 TRX250R & he didn't know what that was, thought I was talking about a cr250. Once I even had a guy at the dunes say "that's a nice banshee, how did you get one with single exhaust?"

Post by: dem3500 on July 11, 2016, 02:23:45 PM: mine gets raced. theres another guy that races thats got an 86 and a ktm. he races the 86 about half the time. the guys i race with are scared of any big open areas because i will "destroy all of us if you get to open it up" haha (363cc PV)
