I recently got bike from guy at work. For starters he told me this was stock carb and it obviously isn't. Question is, isn't there supposed to be an idle screw here? Where this hole is? Or are these like stock carb and you have choke/idle knob.
-
The open hole right above where it says keihin is where it's supposed to be I believe
-
That is were the idle screw goes. You can get onto from Jetsrus

Thank you guys. Just bought one on eBay. Prolly paid way to much lol I'm gonna look on that site right now

Ok. So there's a plastic screw replacement and a brass? It looks like it said brass is for non chrome slides? Im not at all rounded with any of this. If I ordered the brass will it not work? My slide looks chrome
-
There's also a spring for the plastic screw and but for brass it looks like. I bought brass screw and spring not knowing lol. Can I still use them? Dont want to damage anything
-
You should be fine with a brass screw unless you have a real stiff throttle spring & let it slam shut from full throttle all the time.
-
The slides with a chrome covering 'should' get a plastic screw. the brass / alumunum ones can chip the chrome on the slide. That being said, the plastic PWK idle screws are known to be easy to break.
-
So I ordered the brass one.sounds like I "should" be okay as long as I'm not slamming throttle
