I wouldn't be surprised if 15+ 250r's show up.  There is a pretty good "local" turnout on weekends to start with, a little planning and could be big.

There is a large group of 250rs from around Fresno and Bakersfield. If it is planned many will come out.

Looks like a bunch of people are coming with lots of different R's from full drag to stock I read that it's going to be at the new drag strip at pole number 21 off the sand highway at 11:00am Saturday August 6th.

I was just looking on pismo dunes web site and it shows they are booked Friday and Saturday night, is that for camping in the dunes? We where planning on coming down Thursday morning and camping until Saturday. Thanks for any help

Probably
You need to get on finding a place as close as possible asap. Besides already being the busy coast season this heat wave in central cali has people running to the beach to get a break.

We got reservations for Thursday and I'll just have to use my buddy's pass and hope my family and I don't get kicked out while camping Friday night and just leave Saturday after the shootout

Wish I could make, but I'm busy. So just a heads up if your coming south on 101 make sure u give yourself extra travel time traffics been bad! From Gilroy to Greenfield, lots of construction,uneven roads, closed off ramps. It's bad worse then most summers. The air quality is bad to cause of the fire, lots of emergency vehicles everywhere. It's also harvest time. So be safe in your travels. P.S. I believe the mid state fair is also going on Paso Robles and its 100 degrees plus down there.

Thanks for the heads up on the traffic. I'll be coming down Sat early morning.

When it is windy I like to park into the wind. That way the exhaust doesn't get filled with sand.

Yes tent camping with family in the sand with wind sucks, we had to sell everything about three years ago to pay for a brain tumor surgery for me so we are just starting to purchase toys again and I gues the flat bed trailer is going up for sell now we are home and save up for a box trailer again, it was nice riding down in pismo in the morning but windy as hell in the afternoon, unfortunately no other fast bike to race against so I just played around on my wife 450r. I bet the weather today will be great that normally just how it works
