Title: Reusable Clutch Cover Gaskets
Post by: Tbone07 on August 01, 2016, 11:02:25 AM
Does anybody make reusable clutch cover gaskets? I was thinking some type of rubber material would work well

I believe the Cometic clutch cover gaskets are reuseable as they are not paper gaskets.

I heard that you can put chap stick on both sides of the gasket, and it can become reusable since it won't tear. I don't know if there is truth to this or not as I have never tried it.

Pumashine supplies reusable gaskets in the dress up kit kits he offers. He's the guy to ask. Supplies Cometic gaskets.

Part number would be great. I found the ignition and clutch cover gaskets on their site but it doesn't specify "AFM" in the part description

Good find I forgot about that. Pumashine do you sell those gaskets separately or know the part numbers for them?

Call cometic with the normal part number and if I remember right Afm was in front of the number.

Yes, these are the right ones. The ones I have are .018 (ec311018afm)  thick instead of .032 thick for the (ec311032afm) for the clutch cover
