Well not as good as I had hoped... Quad not pictured melted a piston in practice....The red one which is mine has something out of whack in the front end which made it hard to control... The blue one after a bad start worked his way to second.... This is the first time out for all three and I have already fixed most of what was wrong....This was Ventura Raceways last race for the year and I was more about using this as a test race and to get the number of quads up...I am currently working with both promoters from Ventura and Santa Maria and we are going to run a series between both tracks for next year...I also have two more quads to build for two more people who want to race so the total number of quads on my team will stand at six....

Not sure I'm going to keep this up....Turned into a bunch of in fighting.....I only built all of these to help the sport and foremost to have fun.......I again am contemplating selling everything but the two quads in the pic.....I hate drama and I have better things to do if that's the way these guys want to act....

More info on the series next year. Something I would like know.more.about. ran some of the drags at Santa Maria but Ventura is too far. What rule book are you following?

As I was trying to just get the class going i was pretty loose on the rules....If you had a quad you were able to race it as long as it had a dead-mans switch and nerf bars.....I will get together with the promoters before next season and make a list of more specific rules....Such as no knobby tires at Santa Maria after getting the front of my sons quad sandblasted..Or if you have knobbies you will run in your own class.....That way someone starting out doesn't have to spend a ton of money on rims and tires to just go out and have fun....Also I will be implementing a dash for cash as well as a season winner prize...If
enough riders show they will be divided into more specific classes or will all run together but be scored by their class...Rupp camping at Santa Maria is available also....Let me know if your interested....Jeff
