Title: My New 84 ATC 250R
Post by: christph on September 29, 2016, 05:27:17 PM
I've been looking for a nice 84 250R and finally found one.  In fact, I bought some pretty rare and expensive parts before I bought the actual machine.  I've got a new 300 kit and Westcoast swingarm that will eventually be installed.  I'm looking to do an old school MX build.  For now, I'm going to keep it as is.  It's surprisingly zippy and fun in stock form, although the balloon tires leave a lot to be desired when it comes to handling.  I think balloon tires may be the primary reason 3 wheelers got banned.  Anyway, I thought you guys might enjoy a few pictures of a pretty clean 84 R, the newest member of my growing 3-wheeler family.

Thats bada$$! I always liked the 83-84 atc's. They ride like my favorite trike, the 350x.

Dude! I love it. I have heard from a great engine builder that you can get some pretty good power out of those motors. Enjoy
