I've always said Pro-Cross too!!!

I personally think this is someone who is new to the industry. I have been an 2stroke enthusiast since the early 90's, even worked in industry for a few years and have never heard it called "Prox" before this thread. I have heard it pronounced as "pro ex" but mostly as "pro cross"
-
always heard it pronounced pro ex or pro cross as well
procks sounds like something a euro broadcaster would say
-
Sounds like he's saying pro cocks
-
I caught the last 5 mins of the ATV races on MAVTV yesterday and heard the dude say Procks, he was a full on American commentator and not euro at all, haha
-
When I did rc crawler comps the dorks i hung out with all pronounced delrin as derlin. It drove me nuts. Also have a good friend that can't pronounce anything right. He always called his Nissan armada an armanda & he pronounces bose (as in bose stereo's) as bose-a.lol
-
Had a neighbor back in the day that bought a Katana and would always tell me " I bet my Takana is faster than your gsxr"
yeah, he was delusional in a few ways, haha
-

Not attacking you in any way but the commentator is Jason Weigant who has been a writer in Racer X for many years and also involved in the sport for a long time. I've heard Rodney Tomblin call it "PROCKS" and he's been involved with atv racing for over 20 years. I'm not sure if they have changed the name or something but I've always called it Pro-X.
-
Not to hijack a thread but another well known name in the industry is "Laeger".
Everyone I know has always pronounced it lay-ger but I've heard laysher, layshier, league-er. Honestly I'm not sure if I'm even pronouncing it correct.

I work for the company that owns ProX. It is pronounced Procks in our company. Before we bought them, I always thought it Pro ex, but it is not.
