Post by: pantera1975 on October 27, 2016, 11:21:10 AM
Hello, i fell almost 3 years ago on the ice with all my weight on my elbow and the last year my elbow has been really tender and certain had positions it really hurts. Im set for surgery but idk if im gonna do it 3 months off work because if restrictions. I cant afford that at least now. What have you all one for therapy specifically, medication and braces.

I have a similar problem with my left elbow. It's not from a fall but, from an unknown cause. I've tried ignoring it, tennis elbow bands, and stretching/exercises. None of it has helped so I'm back to ignoring the pain. I would suggest to go ahead with the operation. I know being off work for that long can cause problems but think about quality of life. Good luck Loren

That sucks. I dislocated and fractured an elbow, years ago. No surgery required. Rehab and strength conditioning. I always get a second doctors opinion. Whatever you choose, good luck.

Neither dr suggest surgery. They both say 95% heal up. Idk what im doing to irritate it. Heat is the best feeling thing.
