Title: new to forum but old to riding

Hi to all. just a bit on me and my 1988 trx250r.I have been riding since early 90's I have had several toys.and sold them all except the 250r.I just finished rebuild after top end blew on memorial weekend.It is now .40 over and has new crank. I was in shock when looking up parts on Honda site. What scared me the most is trans gears and shift drum.Any how I have always had two passions tearing up trails and chasing  whitetail deer. Of course since I'm almost 50 the deer have taken over the trail riding but I still like the trails its just hurts more and longer than it use to.When I get a chance I will post pic of my 2 1988 r's. one is stock and other has axis/hauser +2 a arms paul tuner pipe.And shock covers
