Hey guys, I thank you all so much for the support and help two years ago. The R has been gone for almost 2 years, and this stuff can hopefully be of use to some of you. I didn't take time to describe each part individually, and I am not excited about shipping a million packages.....but, if you see something you need/want in the pics, hit me up, and I will get more info on it, and we can maybe make a deal. This is obviously listed locally, and I hope a locally buyer would just buy most of it, but it you guys need a part or two, I'll try to make it happen. Miss you guys! Jim

Not too sure about the ASV....it appears to be a cluch lever, but I'm not positive what it came off of, but I had it with my R parts. The Vapor came with some spare parts, that I got with the R. If I get time today, I will try to find some part numbers on both and get you some pics. Jim

I was wrong about the lever, it appears to be a brake lever, not a clutch lever. It is marked with "A2" on the swivel part.

The Vapor.....didn't see any part numbers, but it seems to be working? I push the mode button and it cycles through the 3 screens I took pics of. Not sure anything else about it, I never used it. I has the pictured mounting bracket and wiring included.

Thanks for the incredible high res pic's. Sadly it's hard to tell much without a part number, come up with a price and I'll try to do some research on them. I would like a brake lever, and I already have a clutch lever, I'm looking for a vapor for an air cooled motor and not sure it they are different for air/water cooled motors. Is there any speed sensor wiring included ? Harness's seem to be power and tach (Labeled) and 2 unlabeled, speed and temp. I'll do some looking but many of the harness's cost enough that it's almost cheaper to but a complete unit, rather then piece one together.
Is the brake lever a shorty or standard length ?

The clutch lever is the standard length, not a shorty, it appears to me. I pretty sure it came on my '86 R, and then I seem to recall switching out the front master cylinder from a streetbike, and then had to use another lever, because this one didn't have the little tab that extends down to hit the brake light switch or something.
I will take the back bracket off the back of the vapor, and see if there may be a part # behind it. As far as the wiring, what is pictured, is all I have for it. It seems I do recall the previous owner saying something about a speed sensor, but it was not installed on the bike, and I never came across one. I assumed that heavier wire in the coiled up harness was for the speed sensor, but never was sure. If I recall, he said a magnet got placed on a wheel, and as it passed that part of the sensor, it measured speed or something.
I know its hard to buy something if you don't know it will work or not, lol. I wish I had more info for you on this stuff. I don't want to rip anyone off, for sure. If you decide to roll the dice, how about $40 shipped for both, and if they don't work out, you can ship them back, and I'll refund your money?

I can do that. how do you want to get paid ??
At that price point it's worth the gamble and you sound honest. ;D
Consider them gone, we'll work out the details.

More on this, the ASV lever works/fits great and will be a good addition.
VAPOR - seems to be in good condition, but I'm unable to test it at this time(no fault of seller). I did order $109.00 worth of stuff for it today, as I do believe it will work fine when installed. In this build, I'll be monitoring both cylinder head temps, and oil temps and have a A/B type switch to switch between both temp sensors on the fly. These electronic type gizmo's, while cool, are spendy to make work how you want. I built a mold and filled the caliper mount with JB weld epoxy so the speedo sensor fits correctly, drilled/tapped the caliper mount for 4mmx.7mm to hold the sensor correctly, but waiting for parts to test.
To all; I would not hesitate to buy from this seller, and need to look and see if there is more I can purchase from him.
