Title: How to tell whether I have +1 +2 or +3 A arms, swingarm and axle
Post by: dcs1968 on December 16, 2017, 12:33:48 AM
I was wanting to know if anyone could tell me what the stock measurements are for the A arms, swingarm and rear axle. I have aftermarket A arms and a Durable axle, not sure about the swingarm.  Thanks in advance for any direction anyone can offer.

I see you posted on .net as well and looks like you got your answer. But my +2's are 15" and my +3's are 16". Kind of looks like you got +2's.

Thank you for the replies. I did post on net as well and then I started to notice that they were not as active as org. I am not trying to dis anyone as I value the info I can get from both. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas.

Your swingarm is 86-87 OEM. Sounds like you got the width of the a-arms figured out but if you don't know how to tell if there +1" forward or not look at where the shock is mounted on the lower a-arm. If the shock is basically in the middle of the arm front to back there +1" forward. If the shock mounts toward the front of the a-arm there standard wheelbase arms.

The  rims are on backwards.  You will  experience  far less  feedback through the  handle  bars with a  proper wheel  offset.
