If you haven't seen them, take a look in "Jon's new ride" thread at the rezzi clamps Tony made for Jon's shocks.
Next, who would buy some if he made them?
-
I mentioned it before I even saw the ones he made for Jon. I figure it would be polite to give him at least a day or 2 after he finishes Jon's quad before I bug him anymore. Lol I can wait a little bit for quality.
-
If this could be done for the rear rezi mounts I'll sign my name on that one.. hell ill even get a set for the front for a future shock purchase. I've been debating making something and getting rid of the stock mounts... let's be honest there pretty ugly on the stock frames
-
The front rezi's on the PEP shocks measure around 2 1/4"

Could you do round tube for the atc frame if so ill take 2. Nice work!

Yes, round and rectangular. The quad frame is made of different metric tubing. Some square and some rectangular.
-
Yea i could use some for my my pep resivoir, and probably my sand rail it has 4 resi's i gotta mount some how (24" fox shocks v2.0)
-
I'm in for 4.
-
I would take some made for an OEM chassis rear shock reservoir as I have removed my ugly stock mount.
-
nice work tony
-
I would buy some also!
-
Got a ballpark on the price? Would they be sold in pairs?
-
I will take 4. For works shocks.
-
I would be in for 2 quads as of right now. No rush Tony I know you have a million things going on.
-
There ya go, Tony. Money in the bank!
-
I sent a set to Ryan but they were too big in diameter. Had to make the same holders to hold 2" resi's instead of 2 1/4. Victork needed a set for 1 15/16 works resi's so I got those made up also.

Victork's are in the back and the ones in the fronts are for after market frame 1" to 2" resi's. Also have aftermarket for 2 1/4" resi's. Cost is $10 a clamp. or $40 for the 4 sets Victork is getting plus $6 to ship

Nice! Can't wait till I need a set!
-
Cant wait to bolt em on they look great!
-
Do we just pm you pumashine if we want to buy some?

Since there are so many combinations of frames and resi sizes its hard to make a stock of any kind. Yes you have to PM the resi diameter and (where it needs to go or) the size of tube it is clamping to.

Sweet!

June, I believe you wanted 1" round frame to 2" rezzie's, I made up 4 sets thinking this may be a common size. They are in the pic on post 17.

I am be interested in 6 sets (12 clamps) for 1" round tube to 2" axis. Would you give a package deal or would they still be $10 a clamp?

Sorry the $10 is already the 100 piece price. Let me know if you find them cheaper any where else. Thanks, Tony

I just figured Id ask cause I saw it said $40 for all four set to victork

Yes, it is running $20 per resi. He was just doing the front end. I would not recommend using only one per resi as I see some. So it costs $60 for the 3 on your ride. Which does not really amount to much when you spend $1000 for your new shocks. I have not seen these for less than $20 each so thats why I thought if I could make then for $10 a clamp it would be affordable. I know they send you a hose clamp and a rubber V shape when you spend $500 for a single shock.

These are well worth the price
-
are these still available?

Yes, I always have 3 or 4 orders I am working on at any given time. When guys ask me to make resi clamps for their XXX brand I just ignore the question. I have stated many times you need to tell the resi size and where you want it to go. The diameter of the reservoir is what I use to make a perfect fit. I do not know or care to know what brand XXX measures. There are infinity possibilities. If you want clamps made I will only respond if you give me the diameter of the resi. It seems like no matter how many times I state this request the customer seems to think I am god and know a million different sizes of resi's. I work for the customer but cannot measure his resi diameter.
-
And I was going to eliminate rezzies because I hate the way they mount!!

I bought some from you tony and they're very nice. But I didnt think to measure the rezzis and told you the brand. I dont think its that we think you should know everything. But from my part it was just a lack of knowledge and didn't know the information you needed to make them. Thanks for making nice parts tony!

I understand but this is not a fast food restaurant. There are no common sizes per say. Even the brands themselves use smaller or larger diameter rezi's to match how much cooling is needed. I cut a thick piece and make sure your clamps fit perfect.

You have a talent I wish I had....Thanks Tony for making these...I do not need a set as of now but I will in the future...These reservoir clamps are getting harder and harder to find for 250r's so again thanks!
-
Hey Tony, I'd be in for two sets for front rezzies and one set for rear. I'll pm you the measurements of the rezzies. You are truly appreciated in the 250r community for all the great fab work you do! I wish I would have gotten in to metal fab instead of becoming a journeyman tile setter... Your line of work looks like sooo much more fun and the possibilities are endless....
