Looks like there will be some complete engines coming from ESR. Sweet.

Money back guarantee. 1 year warranty is bold with the errors that could be involved by the end user.
CEO? Must be related to what he has been testing like crazy for the last 6 months or so.
It says that it includes everything except the ignition including a new pipe and carburetor.

Eddie just made this statement on a fb page.
copy-paste=
Eddie Sanders There has been improvement in the last 30 days the quad uses a 41.mm short body carb. smooth bore no dump tube restriction no lost of bottom end with big gains on top This carb.requires reaming of fuel passages and bigger jets The kit includes billet transmission 8 plate clutch power valve cylinder newest reeds The quad can start in 3 gear and revs to the moon peak is about 9100 rpms
So he says HD billet transmission gears, an 8 plate clutch and new reeds are included. Some new reeds might be coming then too and the 8 plate clutch that he has been working on making for a few years. This keeps getting better and better.

thats pretty nuts. his replica engine is posted on his site for $7k. thats not bad at all for all new and one stop shopping
-
I responded to a thread a few weeks ago predicting this. awesome!
-
Holy crap this is sick! He may now finally out duel a certain eBay complete engine builder.
-
it doesn't look like there would be a core charge option, due to all the parts being ESR originals.
-
That is amazing what he is offering

I don't know about this for sure. He doesn't make every part yet I don't think. Maybe it will be a bottom end core even if junk. Have to wait and see.

imo there is no comparing what esr is offering here to the ebay old engine put back together with chrome polish and paint but I defiantly see why you bring it up.
-
Hopefully he can get it to were it is not just him. So people can get a hold of him
-
If he was close to me I'd totally volunteer and answer phones, emails etc.. For Eddie.
-
at what point will new production 250rs be produced?? just needing a frame builder.
-
We will need reliable electronics as well. Non of that cheap China crap.
-

It's pretty astonishing that one guy continues to put all his effort into improving an ATV originally made in the 80's.
Major kudos to Eddie and ESR

seams Eddie is working on his site daily.
Steve put a price tag of $3k for a improved Laeger replica frame with sub frame. Swing arms for $700. He also makes arms but did not mention price.
-
Also to note Kompulsive concepts will make extremely high quality wiring harnesses for us R riders. He makes a ton for banshees, but he made a harness for a R, and now will do it, however you like.
