Say hello to my XC bottom. It’s a Kody Schorr built engine with his full billet tranny.
I’m in no hurry and there’s no timeline but this bad boy will sing someday.
-
educate me who is Kody Schoor ? don't laugh at me I just don't know who he is.
-
He’s the guy out in Tower City that used to wrench for Tony Kellner behind the scenes back in the Hawk days. He’s pretty much the go to guy for a R bottom end....or anything r for that matter. He’s not big on FB or the internet.
-
Isn't he the one actually making the billet gears. That Eddie and Arlan sell
-
Yeah he’s the one who got it started... he had a local guy race his frontline r chassis all last year. Gears were hammered on and worked flawless.
-
So the top end is a 276?

Yeah I’d love to see how these wear in high hp drag applications. The billet McCoy ones wore pretty quickly.

So you got rid of all your Laeger stuff that this engine could go in? Still waiting on that Walsh too? Lol

It might be the same place that truly made them both as they have made some sort of drag gears before for sure. They had someone that makes gears make these. I don't recall the name but you have to buy them from esr, led or schoor. Esr, led and schoor money and quantity orders is what gets the gear runs done.

walsh or isf whichever comes first. i'm kinda into the ltr and ktm for the most part so i sold a lot of my r stuff. i have a decent amount of key parts laying around to be active though... just waiting on a frame.
