Hey all, I'm currently shopping for a new gun safe. I want to upgrade from the cheap small safe I have now. Looking for around a 45 long gun capacity safe. Please comment with your favorite brand/style. Thanks Loren

I kinda like the one my brother in law built out of an old Pepsi soda machine it’s pretty cool

I have a Liberty 1776 series safe and have no complaints. Got it on a black Friday awhile ago. So far not a single complaint

I bought a Sports Afield from Costco some years back for cheap. About 800lbs, but I wouldn't buy again. I got what I paid for. Door doesn't seem to seal well and would not give it a chance in a fire or against any "professional ". My parents have a Canon safe and is very high quality and would consider a similar one next purchase.
My only suggestion... plan to get as big as possible because you run out of room before you're done loading the first time.

I have a Browning that is about 20+ years old I bought from my father in law. It is very well built and heavy as hell. Also has lights in it and a power outlet in it for a golden rod. I would buy another for sure.

My advice would be to get a larger one than you think you need.
