Title: Any large scale rc'ers?
Post by: Sand_Blaster on May 05, 2018, 03:57:48 PM
Went rc'ing with my bro yesterday and he brought his new 1:5 scale 2 stroke hpi clone. The thing is freaking beast, I want one now.

i dont want to go down that rabbit hole again. but if i did it would be large scale. i had $4K in my Unlimited Engineering SuperMaxx. i came to the realization that that was just a money pit and sold it all.

I have a erevo on 4s and its been amazing, no breakage or hardly any money put into it. This car of my bros will be a money pit. Can buy custom exhausts, huge 32cc engines, you name it.

never had a large scale RC...If I do it will be a HPI Baja 5T.  I use to run 1/10th scale...Kyosho ultimatas and Optimatas.  Also had Associated RC10's (gold pan buggies) and numerous Tamiya cars

the Team Associated cars were my favorite at the time

for sure a great hobby.
