The wheelie right by the 4-pokes. That's a killer video.

How did you place?

How did you place?

Went down the wrong trail about half way through the first lap because the promoter forgot to mark the trail off.  So went from 1st to 7-8th.  Then worked back to second place the rest of the race.  Last lap about 1 min from the finish line sucked the engine full of muddy water and 3rd/4th caught me.  So i finished 4th.  I ruined my motor basically.  Going to have to change my airbox setup for these water crossing.  It did it to me every lap, but would come out of it finally after a few minitues of missing and sputtering.  But not the last lap.  Wore my cylinder pretty bad, piston/rings are shot.

DAMN that sucks. I did the exact same thing at the Powerline Park GNCC...

Yup thats pretty much what mine looked like.  I plan on using the stock snorkle and then running no box top, but using some of that green furnace filter mesh between the seat and frame. Hope that keeps it from splashing into my engine.

That's still one issue I'm trying to remedy. I haven't had time lately but I was going to attach some kind of foam to the bottom of the seat pan.

I've got one of these Robl mesh covers off a 450r air-box that will fit my new box perfectly. I've just got to mount it up

Sweet video Kyle, bummer about the water intake.  Not to start a bashing but curious about this motor vs last years setup.  Is power delivery much different?  Is your setup (gearing, suspension) much different too?

Same motor gearing and suspension setup.  I think Arlan has been playing with some different porting techniques, but honestly I cant tell a difference.  Runs the same as last years motor did as far as I am concerned.  One big thing I notice and greatly appreciate is how much easier these motors are to jet that my old ones from a few years ago.  I really fought jetting before. Its a non issue now.
