Title: Stiff clutch

I just replaced the clutch springs and cable and the clutch pull is extremely stiff. I had the clutch out and didn't see anything wrong. I need to get this figured out asap. Any ideas?

I ordered what I thought were oem 88-89 springs. The seller used a trick we no too well.... Oem honda packages cut open with unknown brand parts in the bag. I have tried several different springs I had with the same result every time. I guess I will pull the clutch out and see if the rod is bent. I did that when I had the bottom end apart and it looked just fine.

I used my phone a friend backup plan.  Thanks broken1......
I just pulled the clutch out and reassemble it. Nothing looks out of spec or in poor condition. It has to be the springs

while you have it apart you might want to do the Neil clutch mod.
