Title: Fourwerx Carbon Fiber Radiator Shroud Mounting

So FWC doesn't include mounting hardware with their carbon shrouds.  Anybody running a set?  And if so, how are you mounting them?  Can I rob an OMF set of the shoulder bushing and bolt?  Do I need the rubber grommet?  Kind of frustrated they aren't "ready to install" out of the box or I'd have pulled the trigger.

Best I remember mine bolted right up. I will check when I get home tonight.

It's a must to use a grommet. The carbon will crack over time

Sorry I didn’t get back to you last night. Late night. Checked this morning and mine just bolted up and I used washers only. I agree that it would help to use a small thin grommet or O-ring on the back side and I may just do that this weekend. Mine has not cracked or come loose in three years of hard riding though. Love mine.

Steve Buschinsky might be able to help you on this. His stainless shrouds are rubber mounted.

Not sure how the Fourwerx are done as I've never seen them. Do they still sell them new?
