Anyone running the Esr 310 bolton kit for short rod motor.Any info on performance and reliably would be great. Plan is for mx/tt racing.

I don't personally run it, or even know anyone who does, but I'm sure you've heard most of the draw backs of an unsupported piston skirt at BDC. I'm sure people run them without any problems, but others have had hell with them it seems. I would think piston life is shorter with a bolt on kit versus having your cases bored for the bigger sleeve, but I understand that's a lot more work.

Some of the OG's will chime in soon. They have forgotten more than I have learned lol

I don't believe this applies to the 310.  it pertains to the 330 kit, as the 330 kit comes in two options.  bolt on and standard (bored cases)

Thanks for clearing it up. Reading owned me.

I apologize Daryl. I read bolt on and ran with it lol
