Hey guys does anyone know if there is a GOOD aftermaket  250R ignition system with a lighting coil

Contact LED Performance.  He sells an hpi ignition with a special high output stator and a lighting coil.  It has to be set up with a dial indicator but I’m sure Arlen will walk you through it.

There was a recent thread on the ignition on this site.  LED has also posted info on Facebook about it.

I need to look into this ignition when I decide to upgrade from my OEM ignition
