Well i ended up getting a GAS GAS 300 in parts and a Decent Banshee for free from a friend that used to race and moved to North Carolina. He left them at his rental house years ago and is now selling the house. The gas gas is all there except for the shocks and a-arms. But i have a lead on where they may be. The banshee is pretty clean other than it doesnt have spark.
Should be fun to build/repair them. Probably end up selling them, but who knows.

Banshees never fail to make me smile. I would be interested to hear how the Gas Gas is. I never had the chance to ride one.

This will be a cool build to follow. Keep us up to date!

Sweet! Options are never a bad thing lol
-
after i fix them and play with them some. I will probably throw them up on the chopping block. I have 7 atv's currently. just seems like to many to have.

he who has the most toys is the winner:)

Sounds like something my wife would say to me! You can never have too many toys

i would love to try out a gasgas. i have only heard good things about them. well one bad thing. parts availability
-
I bet if Gas Gas built a 500cc, counter-balanced, CDI controlled PV, fuel injected, two-stroke quad in 2020 it would fly off the shelves. It's up to them, KTM, or Yamaha.

anything on the other side of the pond is bad ass.

When we went to Glamis in 06 a guy in our group from Texas brought a Gas Gas 300 that was street legal from the factory. Got a chance to ride it & was pretty impressed with the power delivery & handling.

gas gas is going to be hard to get parts for it seems. the motor has a pretty bad internal leak, not sure where yet. i hope i can still get gasket kits for it. Piston/cylinder look good.
-
You could probably make your own gaskets if need be. Pick up a bulk sheet at the auto parts store for $10 & you could make pretty much all but the head gasket.

head is oring'd
