Jamie is racing the MX national in SC.... LOL
most of my riding buddies went to LS, but my sons not quite old enough to hit the dunes.
-
How are the dunes there? Course, fine? Clean, dirty? Big? Have any trees/vegatation?
-
It’s probably the widest variety of terrain. It’s all quartz based sand, but there are flat sections, trails, wooded trails and hill climbs with hardly any pre-run, and of course lots of dunes. Going around the perimeter is very fun as is a rip down the middle across all the dunes.
Put it on your list to ride

That's a good turnout. How does that compare the Winchester meet?

I heard there were over 40 250r's there

And I thought the west coast had the most 250rs.

Silverlake has always out done the Winchester meet and so it seems the legend tour does as well.
-
Man that is sick. I gotta wonder if my old R was there.
That red 330 with the shamrocks looks awesome.
-
98 bikes in the group pic. About 20 didn’t make the pic due to various reasons.

Wow 98 R's together at one time. I can only imagine how chaotic the group ride was! Ours at Winchester was like herding cats lol

Ya seriously! But the riding area is limited (1600 acres I believe) and not nearly as big of hills to lose line of sight on.

This is my 2nd year there. It is well worth the trip as we come from 15 hours away. It is a very friendly and organized get together with a ton of good people. 2 buddies and I leave on a Sunday and come home the following Monday. I did Silverlake probably 3-4 times and it was fun but nothing like this.

Mr. Brian Marion and I at the legends R ride. Brian is the guy that started the legends ride. Good to meet him and his family and a bunch of new R guys. It was good to also see the old org riders from the Silverlake org meet ups.
