could someone tell me what the switch is for on the rear shock reservoir ??

Not sure what switch your referring to but if your talking about the round gold knob on an oem reservoir that's for adjusting compression. There's also a rebound adjustment in the bottom shock clevis. It takes a flat head to adjust it. Hope this helps.
